ABC Family wanted to create an experience for Pretty Little Liars viewers that would capitalize on their intense fanbase.

Choose Your Own Adventure

We created an original "Choose Your Own Adventure" (CYOA) video experience based on unique footage filmed around one of the series subplots – totaling five episodes. These interactive episodes ran exclusively on the series website with a headline sponsorship from Microsoft Bing. 

We worked directly with the writers and producers of the show to create the storylines and produce the episodes (from concept to delivery). Each episode provided exclusive background information on characters and served as teasers for future episodes.

There was an overall average of 88% completion rate and more than 3 minutes spent viewing each episode. The custom interactive video player was built in HTML5 so viewers could experience the content not only their computers, but on their mobile devices as well.
